Hello! I’m Tacy Singleterry.
I help busy women and men kick their sugar habit and reclaim their health with my Healthy YOU lifestyle programs.
I know how difficult it can be trying to juggle family and work. And it is no surprise that what often ends up on the back burner is YOU and your health. I know because I’ve been there. So I want to help by showing you how to simplify things in your life because healthy living doesn’t need to be complicated or confusing and it certainly doesn’t need to create more stress in our lives. That is not what healthy living is all about!
So let me tell you about me. I am a personal wellness advisor with a passion for healthy living. I am a speaker, entrepreneur and mother of two. I have had a personal interest in health & nutrition since losing my father to heart disease in 1991. Since then, I have strived to take care of myself through proper nutrition and exercise. However, after having my second child in 2009, I hit a wall. I was still eating what I thought was a healthy diet and I had resumed my exercise routine. I even trained and finished the London Marathon in 2010. But I was struggling with my energy levels, especially in the afternoons. I could not seem to drop that last bit of baby weight around my midsection, I was moody and irritable, and I found myself relying on caffeine and sugar to get me through my day. Sound familiar?
I figured this must be par for the course of having two small children until a friend suggested I had a blood sugar problem. And boy was she ever right! I was on a sugar rollercoaster. In fact, I had been on it for years and it had finally caught up with me.
Getting off the sugar rollercoaster was just the beginning of my journey to get back on the path to wellness. The other pieces of the puzzle were realizing the importance of having a heart-centered personal life, discovering my life’s purpose, having solid relationships, being creative and just plain old having fun! I can honestly say that I feel better today than I did 20 years ago!
So now I want to spread the word and share what I’ve learned with you through my Healthy YOU lifestyle programs. The Healthy YOU programs were developed through my partnership with Team Northrup, a group of like-minded people who believe in optimal health and wellness and our product partner, USANA Health Sciences. I am currently a student of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. These partnerships have given me a new perspective on what it means to live a life of intention – one that is driven by joy, love and purpose.
My intention is to inspire you, motivate you and help you be bold with your life. And it all starts with getting your mind, body and spirit aligned in a state of wellness. I am here for you every step of the way. Above all, I want to make this fun, exciting and a time a great personal growth as you redirect your focus to an area of your life that you have most likely been neglecting (until now!)

I’ve being trying to lose weight for the last 5 years but I didn’t believe in diets. Thanks to the 10 day program I began to feel fit again by making healthier food choices and working out.
For me, the program was a way to reset the way I was looking at food. My sweet cravings disappeared and it made me look at my meal options in a healthier way. I am more conscious of portion sizes, the need to eat often and small, and to increase salad/vegetable intake..
Because the program has been scientifically formulated to reset the body’s metabolism quickly and easily, it’s a very convenient and practical way for most people to experience what it feels like to have a normal metabolism with stable blood sugar. What is particularly remarkable is that the first fat to go is that which surrounds the abdomen, typically the most ‘stubborn’ fat to get rid of…. A wide variety of health problems improve when you get your blood sugar and insulin under control. Resetting your metabolism puts you in a much better position to continue eating for health.
This programme is a great kick start to developing a healthier way of life and I have incorporated exercise into it, which is toning up the body shape at the same time. Nothing about this programme is depriving – e.g. there are even carob-covered peanut butter bars to chew on and strawberry-flavoured shakes – it is not all rabbit food and tasteless powder! I would highly recommend this programme as it is a reasonable cost, easy to follow and Tacy’s continual encouragement and knowledgeable instructions make it less of a chore and more of a treat, especially when you begin to see results.
After many years, I’m finally seeing results. I’ve tried everything – Weight watchers, Jenny Craig, The New Weight Watchers, Nutra slim, Nutra System, Weight Watchers again (the new “new” program….) no carbs- cycle carbs, Gittleman Fat Flush… I could fill 10 pages. Nothing has worked until now. The variable is working with YOU! Thanks Tacy!
I had been feeling tired a lot of the time and also wanted to lose a little weight. I had started to make improvements to my diet and lifestyle, but needed advice and more motivation. Tacy carefully took me through my current eating and drinking habits, as well as my exercise routines, and suggested realistic ways that I could change them for the better. She also pointed out the things that I was already doing right, which was very encouraging. What I really appreciated was that she didn’t necessarily expect me to make drastic changes, but to make changes gradually and build on my good habits. This is quite a contrast with some wellness advisors, who propose such radical changes that you feel defeated before you start! Having taken her advice on board, I am starting to make changes and already feel that my mental attitude to my health is much more positive. Tacy really listens to you and knows that different things work for different people. I would really recommend her for her positive, realistic and non-judgmental approach.
Losing weight after 45 is so hard. It’s incredibly painful waking up one day and realizing that you don’t recognize the person looking back at you in the bathroom mirror. It led to reclusive behaviour and feelings of unworthiness. I got really good at excuses. Tacy – you answered my distress signal. Tacy is a lifestyle coach that is committed to nurturing and sustaining an ongoing relationship so that the old habits of self-medicating with food can be dealt with before they set in. This is THE game changer. The most valuable thing that you have taught me is how to take care of myself and providing me with the tools to become the woman I want to be. And the best part is that it’s for life. What a gift you have given me. Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for not giving up on me.
Today is the 10lb mark! My newest pair of jeans (which were a size down) are officially too big today. I can pull them down without unsnapping them.
I lost 7 pounds since starting, and I am keeping it off. I do not have any real cravings for bad food anymore. I am more aware of the foods that are better for me now. I also have much more energy, and I am sleeping better.
